He fights it with the power of hope and a chat with Aram. Yuri begins having hallucinations of the darkness within himself, telling him to give up. In fact, if I didn’t know better, I’d say that we’re all infected. Like Yuri got on his arm from the Black King. Easiest way to get it is from a wound from one of the dark soldiers. With each new infection, other infected victims have the darkness spread through them, making it even easier for them to spread it to others. Gilbert reveals that not only his flower garden, but his right arm have been infected. The spread of the dark mana is infectious and malignant. This discussion also crosses into some darker territory. They discuss the whys and wherefores of the Black King Suppression Army (Yuri should not be allowed to name things). Yuri is meeting with Gilbert, leader of the Vice-capitol. Resolve for what? We’ll get back to this. This is, to him, something that seems like it’s all for show, but is really the symbol of his resolve in irresolute times. Hirameki is also a type of book full of ink-blot tests that encourages you to draw around those ink blots to make images that are unique to how you see them. “Hirameki” can mean flair, or flashy, but it can also mean inspiration, and can also mean the waving of a flag. A brief lesson in Japanese, since the significance of this name would go over the heads of many. Bushido aside, Aram names his new best friend Hirameki-maru. He’s also given the advice that the weapon will start to take on its owner’s soul. That’s Dusty, official armorer of the Volunteer Army, and the sword is a gift for joining up. He snags a new one from the weaponsmith’s booth and goes to town on the baddie. That’s not just any smith, either. Hey, what is that Aram kid up to, anyways? Well, he’s rushing in to defend innocent hostages and having a hard time of it with his busted-up sword. Teach that Aram kid how to fight, he could learn a lot from you. The princess in the pink hair decides she’s gonna continue on home, but her trusty defender Berkhart? Well, you took a wound from the dark soldiers. Yay! We’ve got new allies (or were they old allies from the video game that we’ve just not seen in the anime?) and they’ve given our heroes a good chance to regroup, recoup, and reconsider a few things. Now, the five of them are traveling to different worlds meeting people they once knew and finding new friends.Or, “The Episode Where Berkhart Goes Full Shane”. Kurogane gave up his sword, Fai the symbols on his back which is his magic and Syaoran has to give up his relationship with Sakura. But in order to travel they must all give up something in return. Each now travels many worlds together, using Mokona to travel to worlds at random. Fai, in another world, just sealed off his enemy and now, leaving Chi in charge of guarding, flees from his world and goes to Yuuko. In other worlds, Kurogane is sent away from Princess Tomoyo's kingdom to Yuuko since he is too violent and she wants him to find more to life. Yukito, the head priest, sent Syaoran with Sakura to the space time witch who many fans of CLAMP will know is Yuuko. Sakura's feathers, her heart which are her memories, disappeared to many worlds and if they are not found then Princess Sakura will die. Syaoran was there, examining the ruins, when Sakura came and that's when everything changed. That same night Sakura was drawn to the ruins of Clow by a mysterious force. Later on she tries to tell Syaoran her true feelings, about how she loves him but many things get in the way. Princess Sakura, of Clow, comes to see Syaoran when he returns from a dig. (Fans of Cardcaptor Sakura will know that this is Sakura's brother) After his father died (who actually was Sakura's father in CCS) he still carried on his father's and his dream to uncover the mysterious ruins of Clow. Syaoran lives in the kingdom of Clow, ruled by King Toya. Tsubasa Chronicles has many characters from CLAMP.
